March 18, 2024 at 11:47 amSpent two days in Singapore and stayed at the Miramar hotel. Lobby was nice and clean, and there was plenty of seating placed about to lounge. Breakfast buffet is included and the selection was decent. The food tasted better on the second day for some reason, but the selection was mostly the same. The rooms are decent. They’re a bit small, but our room was clean. There weren’t any stains or anything on the towels which is always a plus. I usually travel with my own towel since stained towels kinda gross me out, even though I know that they’ve been soaked thoroughly in bleach haha. Oh, and the pillows were great! The bed might be super soft due to being old, but I was too tired after walking around both days to really notice. I slept really well either way! Overall, the stay was good!

Non smokers will probably disagree as the law has been rather strict with indoor smoking since. The atmosphere is wonderful. The food was abundantly surprising with many varieties to suit most palates. Memorable stay overall. Thank you, team Miramar!

Since I can’t eat raw oysters, we tried asking for a cooked version and the chef delivered (we only had to top up a bit for each).

The manager constantly checked on us asking how’s the food and even asked us if we have tried the laksa since it is good. Upon hearing that we haven’t, he offered to help us get one and it was really good as what he described it to be!
